Sam Pringle

Sam’s coaching aims to improve the psychological well being of employees to increase their engagement & productivity at work and at home. She delivers workshops, seminars and executive coaching around the themes of work family balance, flexible working, managing maternity leave, gender equality & mentoring programmes for women.

She started off her career as a Marine Biologist following her passion around environmental sustainability and then embarked on a 10 year management career in pharmaceuticals. Never one to choose an ‘easy life’, she completed a distance learning MBA while managing a team of sales people across Scotland.

In 2003 Sam reached the final top ten for the UK Pharmaceutical Regional Business Manager of the year.

She later diversified her work experience by taking secondments in European Business Development Mundipharma and with Marie Curie Cancer Charity.

After the birth of her son in 2006 she struggled to sustain her career and family life. In response she formed Beeleaf to develop expertise in the niche area of supporting organisations through work family transitions. She under took further training as an NLP Master Practioner and is presently completing an MSc in Coaching at Edinburgh Napier.

Sam works in partnership with both public and private sector clients including the Scottish Parliament, Women in Science Engineering and Technology and Scottish law firms.

Outside of work she is an NCT committee member in Edinburgh South and has created a working parents network Work, Sleep & Play.

With two young children she understands only too well the challenges of enjoying her family, career and managing a successful business.

Sam works with other associate coaches in Scotland and as an associate herself with Diversity Dynamics and My Family Care.
